While Chester, in his "vampire" mindset, has a disagreement with Bunnicula about what kind of movie to watch, his preference of a "new school" vampire romance movie almost mirrors films like The Twilight Saga, whereas he thinks Bunnicula's "old school" taste in horror/comedy--which somewhat resembles the first Dracula movie of 1931 and/or other black and white horror films--are "corny". This in itself represents the change in the vampire film hype itself.
