Zakarov is a minor character of Bunnicula.

History

He was a trained cosmonaut who participated in the Soviet Union's space program. In 1959, he was tasked on a mission to the moon, only to die in an accident and was consequently turning into a ghost, with his spirit bound to space.

Haunting in space for decades, he encounters Bunnicula who would aid him into fulfilling his mission. When they arrived at the moon, he plants the Soviet flag, thus, his mission was finally complete. Thanking Bunnicula, Zakarov then ascended into Banana-Valhalla to forever rest-in-peace as a hero.
